Life's Too Short To Fold Fitted Sheets Book Review
I am a self help book junky, I have read more self help books than the normal average American Women probably does in a life time. I just can not help it, I am always on the hunt for the next best tips and ideas to help me be the best that I can be. And that's why I jumped at the opportunity to read and review Lisa Quinn's new book, Life's Too short To Fold Fitted Sheets.
It is not every day that I get to sit down and read a book from start to finish. Long gone are the days of reading an entire book cover to cover in just a short few hours. Man I REALLY miss those days. I am a fast reader and once I pick up a book I like I just get lost until I have finished. My Husband has learned that if I have a book in my hands just not to even bother me.
I love reading, but have not had much time in the last two years thanks to a little person known as Little Miss Diva in Training. And I will be honest, I am a REALLY bad blogger because I was sent this book in late June and it took me until last week to finish reading it. Life has just been so stressful and busy this summer it took me longer than I thought to finish a book.
But I absolutely LOVED this book, Life's Too Short To Fold Fitted Sheets, really changed my life! Lisa Quinn is an Emmy Award-winning TV host, set dresser, author, and busy mom of two kids who understands that life with children and a husband can sometimes be a little chaotic. Her book is FULL of simple tips, shortcuts, and tricks for cleaning, decor, cooking, and entertaining.
My absolute favorite part of the book is the recipe section that includes 17 DIFFERENT and tasty meals that are super fast to make, ALL made from a deli chicken. I am constantly using deli chickens in my meal time cooking, but I had no idea you could use a deli chicken in so many different recipes. I have personally made several of the recipes and they are delicious and easy. I have added all 17 recipes to my must cook section of my recipe book.
Life's To Short To Fold Fitted Sheets is more than a self help book, it is a MUST HAVE book for those of us who are over striving perfectionist, like me. I learned that there are only 10 short and FAST things you have to do to clean your house before company comes over, and that you do not have to mop the floor every day.
I will be honest, I am an overachiever and a perfectionist who thinks that I must clean house everyday and I hate clutter and a messy house more than you know. But after reading Lisa Quinn's book, Life's Too Short to Fold Fitted Sheets, I feel liberated and have a whole new attitude towards house work, cleaning, and life in general. I know my husband is happy that I am no longer a super bitch when it comes to cleaning and constantly having a presentable house 24 hours a day.
If you are looking for a MUST READ book that will make you laugh, give you TONS of tips on shortcuts for cleaning, organizing, recipes, decorating, entertaining, and SO MUCH more than Lisa Quinn's Life's Too Short To Fold Fitted Sheets is THE BOOK for you! I am giving this book 3 shopping bags up, a MUST HAVE in my shopping bag!
You can currently find Lisa Quinn's book, Life's Too Short to Fold Fitted Sheets on sale on Amazon for $12.98 as of this blog post.

Precious Moments Luxury Plush Blanket Review and Giveaway
I love love love Precious Moments, I have been a big fan for as long as I can remember. I can remember getting the cute little Precious Moments figurines as gifts for major accomplishments as a child growing up. I was given a figure when I had my first communion at church, when I confirmed, when I graduated High School, as Christmas Presents, and any other major event in my life. I even remember a family vacation we took as a child to see the Precious Moments Park and Chapel in Carthage, MO. It was a great vacation and I can not wait to take Miss Diva when she is older.
MomSelect recently sent me the Precious Moments Luxury Plush Blanket for the purpose of this review and as a bonus I get to offer one as a Giveaway to my lovely readers!
The Precious Moments Luxury Plush Blanket is so soft and just way to adorable for words.
"The Precious Moments Luxury Plush Blanket features the adorable Precious Moments Babies in a beautiful watercolor style. Designed to coordinate with the “Welcome Home Baby” crib bedding collection, this blanket also makes a great gift on its own for any Precious Moments fan. The 30”x43” blanket is soft and cuddly. The baby blanket from Precious Moments is so soft it just makes you want to cuddle up with your little one and snuggle all day long. Not only is it super soft but it is so cute, the Precious Moments babies are cute and cuddly too. What I really love about the Precious Moments Luxury Plush Blanket is that the colors are fairly gender neutral, so if you are invited to a baby shower and do not know the sex of the baby this would most definitely be a great gift. You can certainly use this blanket, or crib set, for a boy or girl. And because Precious Moments knows that babies can make a mess, this blanket is easy to wash, no need to worry about stains.

Waterpik Easy Select Shower Head Review
MomSelect recently contacted me about doing a review for Waterpik, they offered to send me a new shower head in exchange for my honest opinion. I was more than ready for the challenge and excited to be getting a new and much nicer shower head.
The Waterpik Easy Select Shower head features a 5 inch round shower head, Advanced OptiFLOW Technology, Easy Clean Nozzles, Removable Flow Regulator, and 5 different spray modes. The Waterpik Easy Select Shower head's spray modes are: High/Low Concentrated Center Spray, Circular Massage, Power Spray / Pulsating Massage, Misting, and Water Saver. The Waterpik Easy Select Shower head retails for $59.99 and can be purchased at The Home Depot.
The new shower head was super easy for my Hubby to install, it only took a few short minuets for him to install our new Waterpik Easy Select Shower head. We decided to install the new shower head in Miss Diva's bathroom because of the removable faucet, the thought was that it would make hair washing much easier. She is not really a big fan of the new shower head but Mommy and Daddy are. I love the removable faucet, it's so easy to use and makes giving a toddler a bath and washing her hair take a lot less time.
I am in LOVE with the massage modes, talk about a nice treat at the end of a long day. The different spray modes are easy to change and I love taking a long shower, when possible, and changing the spray modes back and forth between pulsating message and circular massage.
The Hubby is also a huge fan of the new shower head, he now using Miss Diva's shower all the time and spends twice as long in the shower than before.
If you are looking to buy a new shower head, than look no further than the Waterpik Easy Select Shower head, it's a must in our shopping cart!
Thank You MomSelect for sending us the Waterpik Easy Select Shower Head!

Oh Fever You are NO FUN
Oh what a day! My day started last night at midnight as I was crawling into bed. I noticed that Miss Diva was fussing and not calling me. So I went to check on her and she was not sleeping and could not get settled or comfortable. So after about 30 minutes of trying to sooth her back to sleep I gave up and figured this was her way of being a stubborn toddler and told her she could sleep in bed with me.
Well there was not much sleeping last night at all, Miss Diva could not get comfy and was fussy. We dozed off and on all night and neither one of us slept, except for the Hubby who was snoring all too loudly and had no idea Miss Diva was even in bed with us. Not even when she proclaimed, "SHHHHHH DAGGY, Ni Night" and then proceeded to laugh at his snoring because she thought it was so funny. How he slept through it I still have no idea.
Well this morning when my half awake half asleep self finally managed to pull us out of bed because it was a somewhat decent morning time hour, I noticed that Miss Diva seemed a little warm.
After breakfast I checked her temp and it was sitting at a lovely 102. Which to me was a shock because Miss Diva has never in her whole 2 years of life had a fever this high. So I quickly gave her a dose of Children's Advil, because that was all I currently had at the time, and then waited.
About two hours later she began to get the shakes, and seemed agitated and could not get comfy and became super fussy. So I called the doctor, who had me re-check her temp, still at 102, and they told me what to do.
They said it could be that her body temp was rising and gave me the simple instructions of a luke warm semi cool bath, lots of fluids, cool wash rags on the head, lots of love and cuddle time, and if it went any higher than 103.5-104 to take her to the ER stat.
Well they were right, her temp was on the way up. By 3:30 her temp was right at 103.5, so I told Little Miss Diva that as soon as Daddy got home we were headed to the ER. Then I began digging around the cabinets in search of something other than Children's Advil and came across a Walgreen's brand Tylenol and gave her a dose of that.
With in 45 minuets Miss Diva started to act like she was feeling better, so I rechecked her temp, which was down to 101. She ate a pop sickle, drank some juice, and by 5 proclaimed she wanted dinner. So I made chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese and she ate like a champ.
By the time Daddy got home her temp was completely gone, a cool 98.6, and she was bouncing off the walls like today had never happened. No fever, happy child, and she seems just fine now. I am thinking the we are headed to the ER statement was what made her get better ;)
I am not sure what happened today, but it gave me a scare. I am going to watch her over night and all day tomorrow and pray that this is not some sort of virus. The doctor said that we should bring her in tomorrow if the fever comes back, but that if no more fever than to stay as far away from the doctors office and hospital as possible so that way she does not pick up some other bug.
Today was a stressful day for this momma, fever for no reason from a kid who never gets sick made me just a little worried. But I stayed calm, did not over react and was one super cuddler of a momma today. Let's hope there are no more fevers tomorrow.

The Simple Sound of a Cricket Chirping

I am sitting here at my computer desk, it is late, everyone else has long gone to bed. Work, work, work is all I can think right now. Getting caught up on blog work, emails, and so much more, the stress is beginning to get to me. Typing, typing, typing is all I can seem to do. My brain is telling me to focus while my heart is yearning for me to crawl into bed and snuggle with my ever growing toddler. But alas focusing has been my problem lately. I have let life's little stresses get in the way and have allowed myself to fall behind, which is why I am pulling all nighters this week.
The house is quiet, a little too silent for my tastes tonight. I am sitting by the back door and listening to the quiet rain drops and then I hear the sweet sound of crickets chirping. It takes me back to a much simpler time, when summers meant camp outs under the night sky, ice cream melting down your chin on a hot summer afternoon, the cool of the pool on a scorching day. I absolutely love summer time and it's moments like this that take me back to my childhood.
Who knew the simple sound of crickets chirping could make me feel so at ease, make the stress just float away.
It's the simple things in life, like the smell of rain on a hot summer day or the sound of a cricket outside your window that make life seem just a little less stressful, even if just for a moment in time.
Zhu Zhu Pets Wild Bunch Party
We love parties, and when Mom Select informed Little Miss Diva and I that we would be lucky enough to host a Zhu Zhu Pets Wild Bunch party we were so excited!!! Miss Diva jumped for joy and pronounced to all the world, "YEAH PARTY"
As soon as the box of new Zhu Zhu Pets arrived Miss Diva was ready to party! So we began to plan the party activities and of course the party food!
It is not a party in the Love To Shop Mom house with out my famous Chicken Salad and chocolate for the kiddies! We served chicken salad with an assortment of crackers, chocolate covered pretzels and strawberries, chips and dips, and fresh homemade strawberry lemonade.
Miss Diva invited all of her closets friends over, 10 to be exact, for an afternoon of Zhu Zhu Pets Wild Bunch Fun! We had help planning our Wild Bunch party from Mom Select, who sent along several game ideas and even some wonderful sidewalk chalk for the kids to play with. Unfortunately for us, Mother Nature did not cooperate, and it rained the afternoon of our party and we could not go outside for our sidewalk chalk games. (picture is Miss Diva smiling big with one of each of the NEW Wild Bunch Pets; Stinker the skunk, Sweetie the rabbit, Rocco the raccoon, and Zuzu the hedgehog)

But a great time was still had by all and we improvised. After the excitement settled down from ALL of Miss Diva's friends coming to visit and her handing out a PET as she calls them to each kiddo, we snacked on some yummy goodies and then the REAL fun began!
We had Pet races and lined everyones pets up in a row and let them take off like WILD animals. Which turned out to be a hilarious time because each pet took off in their own direction and were running into walls and other pets. The cute noises that each pet makes made all of Miss Diva's friends giggle and giggle, along with the parents too! My personal favorite is Sweetie the pink bunny rabbit who makes a kissing sound, which Miss Diva promptly kisses right back each and EVERY time!
Since our party got rained out and we could not go outside for the games we had planned, we had tons of free play inside with our new Zhu Zhu Pets Wild Bunch pets. The party was a huge success and everyone was super excited to go home with their very own Wild Bunch Pet!
Thank You Mom Select for selecting Miss Diva and I to host a Zhu Zhu Pets Wild Bunch Party, it was a WILD BLAST!

Moon Dough Barnyard Review
I like to consider myself a fun loving kind of Mom, the kind of Mom who is not afraid to get dirty and let's her kids play in the mud every once in a while. Usually when it comes to messy toys I am the one saying, "Bring It On!" OK who am I kidding, I am a clean freak who is constantly running behind my child picking up after her all day and my Hubby is the fun loving let's get messy parent. It's my nature, I just can not help it.
A few days ago a nice big box arrived on our front porch, and when Miss Diva and I opened the box we discovered a fun looking toy. Moon Dough! I was super excited to try Moon Dough because the pictures on the outside of the box made it look so cute.
Miss Diva is really into animals right now, she loves learning all about different animals and what noises they make. My first thought was oh yeah this is a barn set and she is going to love it.
Moon Dough is a new molding compound unlike anything I have seen before, it is soft and squishy much like a marshmallow or stress reliever ball. What I noticed first was that the dough is hypo-allergenic and wheat free, that it promised to clean up easily, and most importantly that it never dries out. I was skeptical on the thought that it would never dry out, I have played with other doughs my entire life and have never come across one that claims to never dry out and actually live up to the promise.
When I first took the Moon Dough Barn out of the box and put it together, Little Miss Diva could not wait to start playing with it. There were a few parts to assemble, but really it was more like snapping them into place, nothing too hard and super simple. I read the instructions on how to create the molds and we began.
First you knead the dough, then you stuff the dough into the molds, and then turn the knob on the back and out pops a super cute farm animal. There are four unique animal molds- cow, pig, sheep and horse. The animal molds were super easy to figure out and Miss Diva got the hang out it on the first try. The knob that you turn was super easy to use and definitely toddler friendly. There are also two other molds included, a fence and hay bale. These molds are a little more difficult to use because you have to stuff the dough into the forms and then push them out yourself. Miss Diva could not figure out these molds and I had to do them for her.
Miss Diva really had a blast playing with the Moon Dough Barnyard. And although she loved it, my clean freak nature was not crazy about this toy. The Moon Dough is super messy and I found it to be rather flaky. I am not sure if I was just not kneading the dough enough, but I thought that it was just a little too messy for my taste. I am really thankful that I put an old towel down on the floor before we starting playing with the Moon Dough. Also the blue Moon Dough turned my hands blue, but it did wash right off with hot water and lots of soap. On the bright side the Moon Dough really does clean up easily like promised. I pulled out the vacuum as fast as possible and the Moon Dough vacuumed up extremely well. There is no Moon Dough stuck in my carpet, which is nice because not too many other dough products will do that. So if you are not a super clean freak like me and do not mind playing with a messy dough then Moon Dough may just be the toy for your family!
Things I liked about Moon Dough
There are a number of out-of-this-world Moon Dough play sets to choose from, including- Moon Dough Barnyard, Moon Dough Pizza Shop, Magical Molding Doghouse, and Moon Dough Burger Shop. Moon Dough comes in eight great colors: blue, green, white, orange, purple, red pink, and yellow and Moon Dough refill packs are available. Moon Dough is available at Toys "R" Us, Target, Walmart, Kmart, Amazon.com, A.C. More, Michaels, and eToys.

- the barnyard molds were toddler friendly and easy to use

David Garret Rock Symphonies CD Review
I love rock music but I also have a deep love of classical music as well. I just find classical music to be breathtaking and magical to listen to. I will always be a rock kind of gal though, give me some classic rock, 80's rock, grunge rock, or even punk rock and I am one happy gal! When I first heard about David Garret I was intrigued, David is a classically trained violinist who has combined his love of classical and rock music into an amazing album.
David Garret is an international superstar who has been performing sold-out classical violin shows since he was a young boy, he played with the London Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic and the Russian National Orchestra by the age of 12. The German born musician has breathed new life into the genre of classical music and has amassed a large and devoted global following of fans, most of whom are younger than the listeners traditionally associated with classical music. Garret was the best selling new classical artist of 2009. His debut album, entitled David Garret, debut at #1 on the Classical Crossover Chart and held the position for 31 solid weeks. David also holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for the fastest performance of "The Flight of the Bumblebee," which he recently performed on Oprah.
I recently received a copy of David Garrets latest album, entitled Rock Symphonies, for the purpose of this review. Rock Symphonies is an album that uniquely blends the former child prodigy's impressive violin skills with classic rock-and-roll songs from bands like Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, and Nirvana to bring a fresh spin on the genre to a new generation of music lovers.
One of my favorite songs of all time is Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, and David's interpretation is absolutely amazing. On the album David also covers Metallica's Master of Puppets in such a way that makes you fall in love with classical music in such a way you never thought possible. I absolutely love love love this album. If you are not really a fan of rock music you will be after you listen to this album. Vise versa with classical, if you think you could never enjoy classical music, think again, David Garret makes it possible.
The new Rock Symphonies album by David Garret is a definite buy in my book, I would give it 1 and a half shopping bags up!
Rock Symphonies is available for purchase at Best Buy, on ITunes, and online at Amazon.com

I am O.L.D.
I recently found my first grey hair, and then had a nervous breakdown and refused to get out of bed for a week. OK not really a week but I did cry for an hour. Turning 28 in June was hard enough because I realized just how close to 30 I am. In one year and 10 months I will be 30. I hyperventilate at just the thought.
I am beginning to really feel old, feel my age so to speak.
Things I used to find fun are no longer on my fun list. I have not gone out on a Saturday night in I don't even know how long, SERIOUSLY I can not even tell you the last time I visited a bar. One glass of wine gets me pretty hammered these days. Long gone are my days of staying up all night partying, UNLESS you count the slumber party in my bedroom that my toddler seems to think is a nightly occurrence. I turned on the radio in the car the other day and quickly changed the channel because a Brittany Spears song came on, my first thought was DAMN this song is dirty and not appropriate for my toddler. Which then made me cry. For like an hour.
I am no longer just a 20 something fun loving gal anymore, I am an almost 30 Mom who stays home on Saturday night and thinks that date night equals curling up on the couch to watch a movie with the Hubby and fall asleep half way through.
So as I was having an I feel old pity party today while standing in front of a mirror counting the grey hairs and debating over whether it was time to bust out the hair dye or not and if it was time for botox yet, YES I know I am super vain, I made a mental list of things that officially make me O.L.D.

- I do not relate in any way to the following "POP" artist, Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, Ke$sha, Lady GaGa, and just about any other pop group that is currently HOT right now - give me some classic rock and Journey or Janis Joplin, Ben Harper or Jack Johnson any day
- I think that Brittany Spears music is super dirty and just plain inappropriate - this alone should SCREAM OLD LADY
- I no longer think that reading tabloid gossip is fun, and am getting bored with Perez Hilton
- I love watching All My Children
- I use anti-wrinkle cream, DAILY
- I have more than 5 grey hairs
- What the HELL is the jeggings, skinny jeans, or leggins fad all about?
- I have not seen the inside of a "CLUB" in over 5 years
- When I actually do get the chance to visit a bar I prefer the low keyness of a pub or whole in the wall type of place
- I am not a huge Twilight fan, yes I read the books and enjoyed them but I am not one of those crazy fans and am not really interested in the movies
- I am tired and ready for bed by 10 most nights, long gone are the days of staying up for 2 days straight
- Sleeping in means sleeping past 7
- I did not even know there was a new generation 90210 until like half way through the second season
- I have never watch an episode of Gossip Girl
- I am seriously debating the idea of botox
- I have a wrinkle in my forehead
- I recently caught myself saying something my Mom used to say when Iwas growing up that I swore I would NEVER say
- I no longer wear high heals just for fun anymore
Wordless Wednesday: I have high hopes for a new hobby
I have high hopes for a new hobby, I want a "Big Girl" Camera, like @Sahans calls it. Dear Hubby take note, I want a DSLR for Christmas......PLEASE!
Let the Battle Begin
The "Battle" has begun.
It's Me vs. The Toddler
Thanks to the stress of life over the last few weeks, I mean the entire summer, I have become somewhat of a push-over parent. OK so truthfully somewhat should really be more like, full on push-over. My toddler has learned the wonderful skill of manipulation, and has become the Master Manipulator.
What was once a peaceful household, where toddler slept in her own bed, never complained, always ate her meals with out any trouble, and was a super sweet innocent child, has now become quite the opposite.
It started in June when I thought it was time to give up the binky once and for all. I read all the books, asked all my friends for advice, and developed a plan. A plan that I thought would work. We talked about how Miss Diva in Training was going to be a big girl when she turned 2 and that big girls do not use binkies. She agreed that she was in fact a big girl, and I stupidly took that as her way of telling me she was ready to give up the binky. YA RIGHT, Smack a STUPID sign on my forehead, what the HELL was I thinking? I am pretty sure that the picture above explains just how well THAT went over with the toddler.
Ten minutes of screaming during nap time, her crying so hard she made herself vomit all over my freshly vacuumed carpet, and I gave in. THAT'S RIGHT, the toddler wins this round.
This was just the beginning of the pushing over. Next came the meal time fights.
THIS would be her fighting stance, notice the tightened fist? Ya in this picture I am pretty sure she is saying, "If you make me eat one more vegetable I will PUNCH YA FOOL!" This pretty much explains how meals have been going over the last few months. If the toddler is not served Cheetos at all meals then all HELL breaks loose, and by all meals I mean ALL meals, including breakfast. And don't even THINK about forgetting the Cheetos at the grocery store, or trying to hide them once you get home, because THIS WILL HAPPEN..............
That's right, Me the parent who always vowed that there would be NO co-sleeping or room sharing with my children, NOW has a toddler who sleeps in her room EVERY .SINGLE. NIGHT. Remember this post, I confess, I AM GUILTY of Co-Sleeping? YA we have taken it one step further and NOW she sleeps in our room EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT.
YEP, she even has a mattress on the floor next to my side of the bed, because she just plain refuses to sleep in her OWN bed in her OWN room. What the HELL are we paying rent for two bedrooms for if she is not going to sleep in her own room?
WELL I have decided to put my foot down, I am NO LONGER going to be the push-over parent, no longer am I going to let my toddler win the battles. I AM THE PARENT! WHAT I SAY GOES! And I say NO MORE BINKY, NO MORE SLEEPING IN MY ROOM, NO MORE MEAL TIME BATTLES! IT ALL STOPS NOW!
YA RIGHT! that's what my toddler thinks, but I have news for her, as of TODAY there will be no more binky, no more meal time fights, and no more sleeping in my room. She has a room for a reason, and is 2 years old and way to big for a binky, and well Cheetos is NOT considered a nutritious meal supplement.
I mean business y'all!
LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!
*anyone want to take bets on how long I will last?

She will find them and just chow down whether or not you want her to have them. Because yet again, I am the push over and she is the toddler and what toddler wants toddler gets.
After the battle of the binky and the battle of meal times, I just got too damn tired to deal with any more battles, so when the battle over sleeping arrangements began I just gave up before a fight even started.

Eden Fantasys Reivew and Giveaway: Leopard print gown with g-string By Fantasys Lingerie
**Warning**
***this post contains adult subject matter. If you are easily offended or uncomfortable then this is not the post for you. This Post is NOT kid or Work Friendly***
If you have been reading my blog for a while you may already know that I absolutely love working with Eden Fantasys. Why does Eden Fantasys work so well for me? Well because I am a Mom and a Wife at the same time, and on most days the Mom role usually outweighs the Wife role and I tend to let the Mom in me take over a little too much.
Eden Fantasys is perfect if you are a stay at home mom, like me, who is a little too shy to visit a sex shop, or just does not have enough free time to get to a sex shop by myself.. Yes I am a Mom, but I am a Wife first, and this Wife loves her Husband and has needs. I love that I can shop from the convenience and privacy of my own home, and that Eden Fantasys will ship my purchase fast and discreetly.
I love that I can place an order on Eden Fantasys website on Tuesday and it is *usually* on my front porch in a plain white box by Friday. And what is even better is that Eden Fantasys not only ships fast, but they ship discreetly which is GREAT if you do not want anyone to know what you are getting.
Last week Eden Fantasys sent me the Leopard print gown with g-string by Fantasy Lingerie, a shimmering gown with an open front that starts at the bustline, and goes all the way to the bottom. The leopard print mesh is silver speckled and soft against your skin.
This lingerie piece is incredibly see through and leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. If you have big boobs like me, then the triangle cups with blue mesh ruffle trim and a satin ribbon bow, will be a little smaller, but really that just makes it more exciting for your partner. This lingerie piece is made with adjustable straps and is perfect for any body type. I love that this piece is leopard print, it made me feel like a hot sexy wife again and not some tired mom who has been chasing after a 2 year old all day. The matching g-string is a teeny tiny almost nothing there piece of cloth, but really who needs panties when you are about to get busy anyways.
If you are looking for a fun lingerie piece to spice things up just a little this weekend, than look no further than the Leopard print gown with g-string by Fantasy Lingerie, it is currently available in sizes Small and Large and retails for just $25.99 on the Eden Fantasys website. Dove Men + Care Review
Ladies if you want your man to have smooth skin and smell great than do I have a product for you! The new Dove Men + Care has been favorite in the Love To Shop Mom House ever since Dove sent a box full of their new goodies for my Hubby to try a few months ago. I am absolutely head over heals in love with how great my Hubby smells after he gets out of the shower, it makes my heart race just a little!
New Dove Men + Care celebrates the unsung moments when a man is comfortable with himself. Men reach a point in their lives when they are comfortable in themselves, but not in their skin. Through a man’s life experiences he eventually becomes comfortable in his own skin, and the focus shifts from “Me to We” as he allows other people into his life, plans and dreams and he takes a more pragmatic view of the world. Especially when there’s no place he would rather be than a princess tea with his daughter – donning a tiara and all – or when little league outranks the major leagues.
The goal of New Dove Men + Care is to celebrate the unsung moments when a man is comfortable with himself. “Journey to Comfort”, is Dove Men's campaign that celebrates one man’s journey to total comfort, and celebrates the achievements and experiences that have led him to a level of personal comfort; highlight “unsung moments” all men can relate to.
Dove Men + Care is the brand’s first ever product line formulated specifically for men’s needs. Dove Men + Care products provide the cleansing and refreshment that men want combined with Dove moisturizers to provide total skin comfort. Built on the Dove brand’s heritage in cleansing, moisturizing and care, it is clinically proven to fight skin dryness, has no irritation or tightness, and is dermatologist recommended.

I'm Back!
I am back! I have missed blogging the last few days and to say that I have missed twitter is a HUGE understatement. I want to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart to everyone that sent meals, love, emails, twitter messages, facebook messages, and there were there for me and my family in our time of need this past week. You will never know how much your love and support means to us.
I am so ready to get back into the grove of blogging it is not even funny.I have several really awesome reviews planned for you this week. I have a few projects that I am working on that are about to start in the next few weeks that I am excited about and can not wait to preview!
This week will be a fun and busy week for me personally, I am going to be attempting to get Miss Diva to sleep in her own room again and take the binky away for good. I have been a little lax on the giving up the binky because the last time I tried it was a crazy chaotic mess that I gave up faster than I started. And with the stress of loosing my dad I just became the biggest push over when it came to sleeping arrangements. After this week there will be no more sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's room and no more Binky. Wish me luck because I am going to need it, I just hope that I do not become an alcholic by the end of the week.
I am also planning to start a preschool program at home next week with Miss Diva. I will be sharing my lesson plans and ideas with you as I prepare to become a homeschooling momma! If you area a homeschooling momma I would love any and all advice that you can send my way.
Again I want to say thank you so much for all the love and support you sent my way last week, loosing a loved one let alone a parent is a difficult thing to experience. In the last year the hubby and I have both lost our dad's. It been a rough year to say the least.
Before I go, Don't forget to enter the Parazul Handbag giveaway! It ends on Tuesday at midnight central standard time, so you have a little over 48 hours left to enter for your chance to win a $250 Handbag from Parazul!

Wordless Wednesday: 2 of my All Time Favorite Memories
mOmma Feeding Products for Infants and Toddlers Review: Make Meal Time Rock
When it comes to meal times, Little Miss Diva in Training transforms her super cute self into something straight from the pages of a horror novel. Meal times are the most stressful time of my day, there is food being flung, plates being shoved onto the floor, screaming and crying, and me begging Miss Diva to just eat. If I could have one wish it would be for a single peaceful meal where my child ate everything I served her and enjoyed every last bite.
But who am I kidding, I know that is not likely to happen. I used to think that if I used plates and cups that had Miss Diva's favorite characters on them that she would be more inclined to eat the meal put in front of her. And I once again learned the hard way, that if you put a princess plate in front of my child, instead of eating her food so that she can see her favorite characters, she just dumbs the food on the table or the floor and skips eating all together to play with the plate. So character plates are a thing of the past in this house.
When I first heard about mOmma products I could not wait to get them in the mail, I am desperate y'all, DESPERATE, to get Miss Diva to eat a full meal. mOmma promised that meal times would "Rock" and I put it to the test just to see how much meal time rockin could happen with Miss Diva involved.
mOmma is a stylish new like of feeding products for infants and toddlers, this innovative collection of cups, plates, and utensils blends form with function to transform a child's meal time. mOmma helps turn meal times into a moment of learning and pleasure for both parents and children. mOmma's ergonomic design features a distinctive "roly-poly" shape that allows cups, forks, and spoons to rock back and forth when uncovered, keeps kids entertained and eliminating spills all at the same time. The stylish collection of mOmma feeding products is available in brilliant orange and vibrant green and is PBA and phthalate-free.
I was super impressed by how mOmma was able to combine innovation and technology in their feeding products to transform mealtime into a learning opportunity. Even though Miss Diva is 2 she stills struggles with using utensils correctly and at most meals just reverts to eating with her fingers. I had all but given up on her actually using a spoon to eat until we gave the mOmma spoon a chance. I thought she may be a little old for the mOmma spoon, but actually it was perfect for her, what a transformation one meal made. She round ball like handle fit perfectly in her hand and she was able to spoon feed herself without any problems or spilling anything on herself. She felt like such a big girl and was so proud that she had done it! There were lots of "Yeahs" and "You did it" at dinner that night!
Miss Diva is the queen of throwing plates across the room, or just pushing the plate to the end of the table and off the side when she does not like what I have served her. Like I said meal times stress me out to no end and I usually end up in tears on a nightly basis. But with the mOmma plate is made with a rubber-coated botton that virtually stops skidding. Miss Diva could not push the mOmma plate across the table and was not too happy about that. I was ecstatic though!
mOmma feeding products are designed to be easy to use for infants and toddlers. The unique rounded shapes ergonomically fit the tiniest hands. Each cup features a dual handle to strengthen a child's grip and allow drinking from both sides. Rubber-coated bottoms help reduce skidding and prevent spills. Non=spill lids close firmly to prevent liquids from dripping. The utensils protective cover provides a hygienic case for travel and doubles as an extendable handle for parent or child. Once the protective lid is removed, the cups' and utensils' spherical base keeps them upright to help prevent the are that touches a child's mouth from coming in contact with the surface of soiled tables or counter tops for maximum hygiene.
mOmma products are available at select specialty stores, online at http://www.mommaus.com/, http://www.amazon.com/ and http://www.diapers.com/
You can find mOmma on Facebook
I was super impressed with mOmma, I give it 2 shopping bags up! A must in my baby shower shopping trips! Thank you mOmma and Team Mom for sending me the mOmma Non-Spill cup, mOmma Cup with Straw, mOmma Warm Developmental Meal Set with Spoon and Fork, and the mOmma Wash Cleaning Accessory.

Babyphotographers.com Review
When I first found out I was pregnant with Little Miss Diva in Training I envisioned this wonderful life, with a fabulously chic house, and in that chic house the walls would be decorated with hundreds of pictures of my happy family. I had dreams about how wonderful it would be to capture every single moment and smile on film, and had plans of monthly photography sessions with the best of the best to chronicle our wonderful little family.
Flash forward to reality and two years alter and we have had one, count them one, professional photography session. Well if you count the time we went for family photo's when Miss Diva was about 9 months and I stormed out because of the poor service, then we have technically had two photography sessions.
For Miss Diva's First Year Pictures, I took her to a local photography studio that my fellow Mom friends had recommended, because I had heard how wonderful they were with children. We had such a traumatic experience that the thought of taking my family for professional pictures makes me literally sick at my stomach. Miss Diva screamed the entire time, the photographer was less than helpful, I was charged a fortune, we were rushed, and the entire experience felt extremely impersonal. I shutter at the thought of that day.
I would never wish that experience on anyone, any day. I am sure that I am not the only Mom out there that has had this kind of experience, and would love a place that we could visit to research baby photographers. The Simple Joy's of a Date Night In
The Hubby and I do not get out much alone, date nights are rare and few and far between these days. And it's not because we don't want to go out alone together, it's because at this particular time life just does not allow us to get out very often. So we have instituted Date Night In.
Every Saturday night we make a nice meal, put Miss Diva to bed, and then cuddle up on the couch together and watch a movie. Each week we rotate who gets to pick the movie so that it is fair. It's our one time during the week that is totally and completely "our time", no work, no blogging, no twitter, no facebook, no email, no text messages, no phone calls, nothing but the two of us.
Before we were parents we took out free time for granted, went to restaurants when ever we felt like it, went to the movies, hung out with our friends at bars when ever we felt like it, and never thought twice about what our time with each other really was worth. Now our funds are limited, our time together is limited, and thanks to having a toddler who has zero patients for restaurant dining, we rarely see the inside of a restaurant longer than the amount of time that it takes to pick up a take out order.
I have learned to enjoy the simplicity of date night in, and actually look forward to it each week. It is the one time during the busy week that I know I am going to get actual alone time with my husband. I know that no phone call or email is more important than the simple two hours we have set aside for movie night each weekend. It is as if the world stops for two hours so that we can reconnect with each other and remind ourselves why we fell in love in the first place.
Even though we do not enjoy the luxury of date nights out, it is still a wonderful treat each week to know that I am going to spend quality time with the man I love. It's the simple things like date night in that keep us feeling as in love as we did the day we married each other.
