Gloveables Review Holiday Gift Guide Event (GIVEAWAY Item)
Lindy Kummings, a mom of 2 boys, is the creator of Gloveables, a products that puts the "fun" in cleaning! Lindy is a cancer survivor and you can find her AMAZING story here. In 2001 Lindy brainstormed with the idea to apply colorful pleated oilcloth borders and attach them to standard rubber gloves to combine fashion with function! She wanted to give women a new rubber glove that would make cleaning and other household choirs more fun and enjoyable to complete. And with in a few years Gloveables was born and took off running.Gloveables has since been featured in "O," "British Vogue," "Readers Digest," and countless other publications. Gloveables was even featured on an episode of the hit ABC show "Desperate Housewives". Gloveables has grown from just rubber gloves to aprons and hand bags.
Gloveables was very nice and sent me a pair of their rubber gloves for the purpose of this review. I absolutely do not mind doing household choirs when I am wearing a pair of Gloveables! I feel a little more girly and a little less dirty when scrubbing the toilet. I love that I can combine fashion and cleaning house all in one, gone are the days of feeling gross while cleaning.
Gloveables has many features that I love. They are waterproof so that I do not have to worry about messing up a manicure when it is time to clean the kitchen. They are perfect for protecting my hands from harmful chemicals that dry out your hands, there is nothing I hate more than drying chemicals that take days for the smell to fully go away and for my hands to feel "normal" again. Gloveables also protect my hands from heat and dirt. I am always afraid that if i use chemicals to clean that i need to take a steaming hot shower after before I can touch Little Miss Diva. Well now with Gloveables I can go clean the bathroom and then take them off and I am good to go for a Little Mommy and Miss Diva play time. Which makes Miss Diva happy.Gloveables are also very fashionable but yet comfortable. They feel soft on your hands unlike some rubber gloves I have used in the past. I really love the cute ruffled fringe at the bottom, not only is it cute but it ads extra protection from splashed. And the best part about Gloveables is that they are durable and will last a long time because they are made from high quality materials.
I am a huge Gloveables fan and I know that you will be too! Gloveables is a must in my book and I would love to give them to ALL my girlfriends and moms all over the world! Being a stay at home mom, anything that can make cleaning a little more enjoyable and a lot less choirish and dull gets a major plus in my book!!!!

A Few MAJOR Updates
I am so proud of where Love To Shop Mom is going! I am just happy to have such wonderful readers! Thank you so much!

I realy miss enjoying my favorite foods
So I have a very nasty stomach, for some reason mine just does not seem to like me lately. Due to weight gain, stress, and a few other factors, I have issues. If I eat something that is to spicy my stomach says ya right and then it is painful. If I eat dairy my stomach says ya right and it is really painful. If I eat meat my stomach says hell no and well you get the point. PAINFUL and i mean stomach pains like you would not believe that usually end up with me throwing up 95% of the time. Which after a few days of throwing up you can image the grumpy mood I am in because I am hungry, the pains from hunger, and the lack of energy that I have. Not to mention the fact that my hair is starting to fall out.
My muscles are really starting to hurt, I am loosing weight, which I love but with this effect I am willing to gain it all back for a happy tummy. I am loosing my boobs, which is fine with my because after pregnancy they are way to big for me anyways and i would like my old boobs back anyways so no complaints about that. But my jeans are getting too big and I was able to buy smaller shirts recently. And i love that i am loosing weight and i needed to anyways but not like this.
Yesterday was a rough day I was sick all day and vomiting everything I ate. Today my stomach hurt so bad from the pain I thought i would not be able to get out of bed. And then when I thought ok i feel just a little better and can eat something, i threw it back up. The hubby was so nice to bring me some crackers home after work and that is all i have had today. And most days this is what life has become for me, vomiting and trying to eat food and then vomiting again. I have seen the inside of my toilet more times in the last few months than any normal person should.
I know for a fact that I am not pregnant so that is not an issue here. In fact we have had failed attempts to get pregnant recently and I fear that this may be why. But with no health insurance to visit that doctor for something like this would cost us a fortune, and well when you live on a very strict budget, doctor visits are not on the top of the list of needs.
I fear that my husband and family think that I have relapsed into an eating disorder. I had an eating disorder when i was younger and i fear they think that this is the problem again. And i assure them that it is not. I do not know what is happening but i hope it stops soon. I really hate throwing up and I can be a total bitch when my stomach hurts like this. The pain today is just plain unbearable. I do not want Miss Diva to think that it is ok to throw up everything that you eat, i do not want her to have issues with food like i have had in the past, i want her to be healthy and love her body and food.
And i miss being able to enjoy my favorite foods, like mexican food, i really miss that!

Baby Dipper Review Holiday Gift Guide Event (GIVEAWAY Item)

Frustrated with other baby feeding bowls available to moms, Barbara wanted something that she could use with one hand, that did not slide around the table, and that would aid in the collection of baby food. Barbara was so nice and sent Miss Diva and I a Baby Dipper Bowl to try out for the purpose of this review. I had read about the Baby Dipper and heard how great it was for toddlers and could not wait to try it out myself! Little Miss Diva in Training is extremely independent and when it comes to meal time mommy had better not come close to her food. She even tells me "NO" when i try and help feed her. She is truly a Little Miss Independent! I am just waiting for the day when she says "No I DO MOMMY" I think I might actually cry when that day comes. So we took the Baby Dipper out for a spin and OH BOY it lived up to it's promise!
I decided that I would give Little Miss Diva chocolate pudding for the first time ever in her new Baby Dipper Bowl. What I was thinking giving her chocolate pudding? I have no idea?!?! Lets just say the sugar rush she got after was JUST SO FUN! hehehehe
So Miss Diva dove right into the pudding and in Miss Diva true fashion she would not let mommy help her, so i just stood by with the camera and went to town taking pics!
The Baby Dipper spoon was shaped just right for Miss Diva's tiny little toddler hands, it has a slight curve in it to help toddlers feed themselves. Right away I noticed that Miss Diva was holding the spoon a lot more comfortably than she would any other spoon. She was able to actually spoon the pudding onto the spoon and then take it straight to her mouth. The bowl really did help to guide the pudding onto the spoon.
I was really impressed at how well Little Miss Diva was feeding herself with the Baby Dipper bowl and spoon. Usually when Miss Diva is eating she holds the spoon in one hand and then puts food in her mouth with the other hand. With other spoons and bowls she gets frustrated and gives up all together and food usually ends up being thrown onto the floor. But not with the Baby Dipper Bowl and spoon, she actually ate all of her pudding and did not share any with the dog. Which made this mommy one happy mommy and the dog was a sad dog :(
OK so she still had her "MESSY FUN" Which may have been a little mommy encouraged, because really, eating pudding for the first time ever you have to make a mess and get down and dirty with it! So this mommy may have encouraged some snack time food playing! Lets call it modern food art shall we!
All in all I was very impressed and will be using the Baby Dipper at all meals for as long as Little Miss Diva will let us! And I will most definitely be giving it to friends as baby shower gifts and using it if we ever have another baby! The Baby Dipper Bowl and Spoon are a must for any new mom! Well at least Love To Shop Mom and Little Miss Diva in Training think so anyways! Thank you Baby Dipper, i foresee stress free meals in our future!
